Length Element

The length element allows you to measure distances on the site as well as record assets that have a length property such as kerbs and fences. Lengths elements can be closed to measure perimeters. It is worth noting that all earthworks elements report a boundary outline perimeter in the input data summary so there is no need to trace a line around any earthworks element.

The properties that are exposed for the length element are summarised below.

	Colours Here you can set the Main and Text colour of the length. This can be useful for visually seperating different area measurements or making them easier to see against the colours of the topography. IsClosed You can choose for the length element to measure a closed line by ticking this box. You would typically use this options for perimeters in your project. Definition Points These are the points which define the points of the length element.
