The volume of foundations can be modelled in Kubla Cubed in just the same way as any other earthworks element. The only real differences are that the slope batter for foundations are almost always set to vertical, and that foundations often have holes inside them. The ability to cut holes out of volumes is a standard feature in Kubla Cubed, but is much less commonly-used for actual earthworks elements. Cutting holes is easily achieved by adding internal outlines within the external ones. The internal outlines will be automatically detected and removed as holes.
